Upcoming G.I. JOE Fan Film / Web Series

We posted this to our Facebook as well, but in case you didn’t see it…

A lot of our customers were very disappointed in the G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra movie, so much so that I still get into heated conversations at the store about it! If you want to see a new, non-Hollywood perspective, consider donating to this upcoming G.I. Joe fan film (fan film, meaning it is made by FANS, meaning the final film will be FREE).

DONATE TO THIS FILM AT KICKSTARTER!

I briefly talked with Frederic Doss (one of the minds behind/actors in the upcoming film) and these guys are super excited about putting out a quality G.I. Joe film. If you guys grew up on G.I. Joe like my friends and I did, or just want to help out a really cool project, you can donate anywhere from a dollar up!

Checkout is through your amazon account so it is super easy, and they only get your donation if they raise their total goal (which is pretty low, only $2.500).

Sea Monster Halloween 2011 Photos

Alright, the Halloween party photos are up – just click on a thumbnail to view the photo!

The next time you see Marisa Martens tell her thanks for volunteering her time to help take all these great pictures!  Also give a high five to James Hegar and Nick Johnston, who offered up a ton of time to help behind the scenes this past week.  Thanks, pals!

When you click on the picture thumbnail, a small version of the photo will open.  Above it, you can click the link that says “Full size is … pixels” and a larger image will open up.

IF YOU WANT HIGH RESOLUTION COPIES:

You will need to find your kids pictures on the site and write down their number(s) (SME_HW2001 XXX) and bring a usb thumb drive / flash drive into Sea Monster and we will give you the high res digital file free of charge.  You can also bring in a blank cd or dvd, but a usb drive works best.  If neither option is do-able for you, we can email the photos but it might take a few days.
